Day 1: Fez – Merzouga

Your journey begins at 8 am, when we leave Fez for the fascinating desert of Merzouga. We will drive through the picturesque Middle Atlas Mountains, soaking in the breathtaking scenery. A stop in Azrou will allow you to admire the views and capture breathtaking photos. We will break for lunch in Midelt, a charming village nestled in the mountains. Continuing our adventure, we will cross the lush Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves, vibrant crops and spectacular gorges. Upon arrival in Merzouga, we will stay in a comfortable hotel for the night and prepare for the adventures that await us in the desert.

Day 2: Explore Merzouga & Camel Trek

After breakfast, we will embark on an exciting 4×4 desert excursion at 9am. Discover the unique culture of the village of Khamlia, home of the Gnawa people, where you will enjoy their soulful music and learn about their traditions. We will also visit a desert oasis and share a cup of tea with a nomadic family in their traditional tent. Lunch will be served back in Merzouga, followed by an unforgettable experience: spending the night in a Sahara desert camp under a blanket of stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert -Rissani – Erfoud – Fez.

Wake up early to contemplate the magical sunrise over the dunes. Afterwards, return by camel to Merzouga for breakfast and a refreshing shower. On the way back to Fez, we will explore Rissani, home to Morocco’s largest traditional markets, and Erfoud, known for its fascinating fossil production. We will return through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch in Midelt. In the late afternoon, we will arrive back in Fez, where your unforgettable desert adventure will come to an end.
