Today, we travel to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen, passing through Tetouan and the traditional villages of Jbala. Soak in the fresh air and scenic hills of the region before arriving in Chefchaouen, where you can explore the medina, the famous square and local markets.
We depart for Fez, with a stop at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. We then explore Meknes, another imperial city with its historical sites. After discovering the highlights of Meknes, we continue to Fez for the night.
Embark on a guided exploration of the vast ancient medina of Fez. Stroll through narrow streets filled with the scent of spices, colorful carpets and Moroccan art. Visit the Royal Palace, tanneries, potteries and enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant before returning to your hotel.
An early departure takes us through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Travel through beautiful forests, vast plains and Berber villages. We stop for lunch in Midelt, the capital of the apple, before winding along roads overlooking the Ziz Valley. Finally, arrive in Merzouga for a camel ride into the desert and a sunset view, followed by dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
After breakfast, enjoy a desert expedition, crossing the two oases of Merzouga, the nomadic Berber lands and the village of Khamlia. We will ride camels to the dunes to enjoy a spectacular sunset and spend the night in nomad tents in a desert oasis.
After sunrise in the desert, we return to the hotel for a shower and breakfast. Then, we visit the bustling market of Rissani before heading towards the Todra Gorges. We will walk along the streams of the canyon and continue to the Dades Gorges to spend the night in a local Riad.
Today, we travel to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a popular location for filming. We will have lunch at the Kasbah before crossing the Tizi n Tishka pass in the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech for an overnight stay in a Riad.
After breakfast, we travel to the coastal city of Essaouira, a historic trading post of Morocco. Explore its ancient streets, museums, castles and canyons before returning to Marrakech for the night.
Spend the day touring Marrakech, the “traveler’s magnet,” exploring the medina, souks, Jamaa el Fna Square, the Saadian Tombs, the Menara Gardens, and the El Bahia and Badia Palaces.
Today we drive to Rabat, passing through Casablanca, where you will see the Hassan II Mosque. Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, for an overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, we will drive to Tangier, stopping at a few points of interest along the way, before transferring to the port or airport for your departure.
