Your day trip to the magnificent Ouzoud Falls begins in Marrakech at 8:30 am with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or the closest accessible point to your riad. Board a comfortable air-conditioned minibus with a small group (maximum 17 people) for the scenic 3-hour drive north. You will cross the picturesque Tadla plains and admire the landscapes filled with olive, peach and apricot trees.
Upon arrival, you will have the option of hiring a local guide for a small fee (approx. 3 euros per person) to accompany you on a pleasant walk downhill to the springs. This trail offers incredible views as you approach the impressive 110-meter Ouzoud waterfalls, often resplendent with a permanent rainbow. Along the way, you are likely to come across the playful Barbary apes, known to frequent the area.
Enjoy a relaxing break and perhaps a light lunch at one of the charming cafes by the creek before ascending back to the village. Your driver will then embark on the return journey to Marrakech, concluding your memorable day trip in the late afternoon (around 7pm and 8pm, depending on traffic and season), with return to your hotel or initial pick-up point.
